Castration sucess??

I'll go out on a limb and say BULLLLLLLLLLL! It happens from time to time so don't worry. But I'd get him separated from any cows, including momma, that you don't want bred. Soon.

Na did not pay him just a few beers and a few pints of maple syrup.

I am sure he knows how to do it as he has quite a herd at his place. He has done it many many times but I guess this time he was off.

Bummer for sure. Would he be able to breed the cow now? What are the ramifacations of inbreeding son to mother?

So how does he look for a 10 month old bull?

Yep- and if the calf turns out good- its linebreeding...If its bad- its inbreeding....

Knife cut when we brand.
we use emasculators to Dock lambs when they are a day old. we jug lamb after we get thru calving(and ewes undressed). We usually use the same crew and castrate lambs and vacccinate same day or the next. usually same number of lambs as calves. lamb are younger but the oyster buckes are filled about the same
