Anyone use any software programs? We currently use Cattleworks, but wish it did more. Would like something that did more on the money side for tracking expenses.

Some of the others are pretty expensive, seen this on E-bay, cheap but don't know if it is any good.

Check out this one.

They have great customer service, and they do cover expenses.
Does it give you year end report with things in the proper tax areas?

Do you use it? Looking for something that will track cattle and all farm related expenses.

We use "Cowsense" and have for about 10yrs now. It's very user friendly and it'll do so much more than what we use it for. Take a look at it. It's kind of expensive to buy, but it's been well worth it for us over the years, and the support is great from them.

Yes I do use it. I haven't gotten as far as setting up the income/expense report yet so I don't know. You can get a trial version from them and see if it has what you want.

I've been using Cattlemax since this spring, been quite happy with it. They make fairly frequent updates and are receptive to ideas for improvements from users. I tested a few programs before I layed out the cash and Cattlemax is the one I chose.
