Are they being sold in the yard or the Auction Market? Here's to the top of the market either way. :tiphat:

We are going to the yards. I really considered trying DLMS but we are 90 miles to a scale that weighs them on the ground. With the package of Herefords and a package of Hfrs and probably a light and heavy cut on the black steers I thought they might be better sold where the buyers could make loads.
I guess we will see Tuesday. :D
I like the market for those same reasons. I am lucky to be close to one and if using DLMS the scale is only 5 miles away.

You are kidding per - you would use DLMS?  Isn't that kind of working against "the cause" the BIG, Canada Gold etc??

DLMS was started by our local market. I have used them before and sold a load to Canada Gold this year using them. I do realize who owns them but until their situation is changed that is our reality too. Unlike some I am not willing to take a tool out of my toolbox. It is not illegal or immoral to utilize the Brothers services. No man is an island. Wish it were different. :(

Not being critical per but is there a downside to using TEAM or CSA instead? I've never used any of them so can't comment on their strengths and weaknesses.

The scale and proximity to my local market a few miles down the road where we have the option of holding them overnight and selling with an actual weight keeps me captive. (so to speak) Also the local auction gets a commission and they spend it in my community. TEAM is excellent and I have sold on the satellite before as well but the legal tender scale takes the guess work out of it.
