We worked a little bunch today pulled 6 horned heifers and a bad horned steer and 3 butt headed hiefers off some scrub cattle I had bought, bred to angus bulls. I traded the polled heifers for some horned ones and hauled to A friend that lives only a little ways from us. I left the first 7 in the cowpens and am makin a deal with a cuttin horse man to rent them. I don't won't much but I'll get them back pen and horse broke and the steer started on feed ready to finish when I get them back. That will get them off there mamas and I won't have nothin in them till their ready to see a bull. It makes to much sence for a ignert cracker to figer out. What I hate about workin them was I aint got to ride my pony. I eased around in my king ranch, tryin not to get in the way nursin this broke hip and hopein to get back on a horse soon. But bein thankfull not to live on pain pills and bein born and live south of the mason dixon line. Way south.
