This goes with another thread....that has been lost in the fray.

This is bad business and all women should be outraged at Palin as this happened on her watch as Mayor of the Meth Capital of Alaska, Wasilla.

Two state leaders lashed out at the public record of Gov. Sarah Palin on Wednesday as witnesses in a new "Alaska Mythbusters" forum coordinated by supporters of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.

WASILLA, Alaska — In 2000, Alaska lawmakers learned that rural police agencies had been billing rape victims or their insurance companies $500 to $1,200 for the costs of the forensic medical examinations used to gather evidence

Ok Kola...tell the whole story.

Palin "toed was basically this: no way, no how, no public funding at the municipal, state or federal level for rape kits that contain EC," adding that the "only possible reason behind" her "consistent refusal to fund rape investigation kits with taxpayer money is that they contain" EC, "which her religious fundamentalism views as tantamount to an abortion"

EC = emergency contraception

I don't believe this crap for a second, but first, let me see if I have this right; You libs think it is a terrible thing to bill somebody's insurance for a rape kit, but you have no problem with Obama casting a vote for infanticide. Am I right on this?

Let's get this right. The liberals complain about this and then turn around and attack Palins kids.
Intead of them dieing a slow death why don't the libs just commit suicide. Why not they kill babies don't they

If this is the reason, she's forcing her personal religious beliefs on women who don't share them, but may be forced to have an abortion later or bear a rapists' child. That's wrong. I don't even know what religion the governor of my state supports, but he better not be pushing it into my life or my family and friend's lives.

No, per your example, I'm having rules of law pushed on me every day. Laws are not religion. Many of them, maybe most, may be based on religious tenents, but they're not religion.

FFF...I don't believe she forced anything....betcha the whole council voted this. Check on it for me. But a child is a child...regardless of how it was conceived. Abortion most often is a a bad decision to attemt to hide or correct a previous bad decision.
