Checking Heifers

Today I made it up on the wheeler to see the bred heifers :D . I couldn't get to all of them since the draws were filled with snow, and I didn't want to get stuck  . The ones I saw looked good though.

Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words... .

My salt thieves. Glad they don't seem fond of mineral, that would get a bit expensive :D .

Some heifers I couldn't get to today. They look happy and content from a distance.

Here's the group I did see up close. They came through the storm in good shape :D .

I'm looking forward to putting them in with the rest of the cows to see how the new, improved (hopefully :) ), and younger herd looks :D .
