I don't know where else to post this so humor me would ya! :D WHAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

What a miracle in progress! As an ex-mine electrician, I have worked on a mine rescue team and kinda feel connected to the folks who earn their money underground. They are exceptional and neat folks in my opinion. I am just floating that they have been able to get these guys out and continue to pray for the guys still down the hole. Bring them all home safe please Lord! :D

Yes, a lot of prayers have been answered! 8) 8) 8) I've been out on a no-cab tractor running the rotary mower today. I've got a radio but I can't hear it over the tractor so I couldn't hear the news unless I quit mowing. The national news is coming on TV soon so I'll watch that.

Edit: I think one of the miners summed the situation up well when he said "I met God. I met the Devil. God won."

I watch the president and first lady hugging these miners and their family and wonder if our president and first lady would do the same.... What a wonderful thing to watch... Great achievement.....

Yep, Thank the Lord!!! The ones I saw on the news were doing so as they emerged.
I can't say my experiences help me relate to the miners, but I have dug myself a rut a time or two.

glad I not down there too much girth for the tube and would take a Valuim IV to get me inside that tube.....

Me too Jody, but I heard one news report that most of the miners have lost about 20lbs since this thing started.

I have no idea what they have been eating but it seems like cooking with a camp stove or something like that would be out of the question in a confined space like that. And I don't even want to think of the restroom conditions.

I heard that after they knew they were alive back in August, the people
outside were able to get some food down to them. Not alot, but enough for
them to exist on.

What a great effort by 33 incredible individuals and the government of Chile. I wonder how many other countries would go for outside help and do what ever it takes right off the hop like that. The gulf oil spill comes to mind, and those poor Russian sailors in that sub a few years ago.
Anyway, it sure is a great story with a fantastic ending..... nice to see good news in the news!
