Director of China's Agriculture Ministry Veterinary Bureau Jia Youlin said Friday that China would impose an import ban on US cattle and beef.
Following a confirmed case of mad cow disease in the US on June 24, the Agriculture Ministry will take measures to strengthen disease prevention and control.
