jet fuel does not get hot enough to melt steel. if you cared about you fellow americans that died that day you would already know this.
BULL CRAP
that is what you have in your head along with fluoride. explain how jet fuel can cause steel to melt in less than one hour....this is something 1300 architects and engineers cannot answer...but glad Hopalong can do it here for us all to hear...give it a shot...
Who said it melted?
An example of steel being weakened by heat and then bent (many of us have seen this done many times) Shamoo, why don't you tell us the temp. of this guy's forge and how long he had the steel in the fire, before he was able to bend it. And what was the force needed on the steel to bend it?

and here is an example of a steel beam being loaded with weight and a jet fuel fire weakening the steel. (2000 degrees F @ 2 min.)
The Steel beam fails at 3:40 min, due to the heat and the load.

and just incase you can't find the answers shammoo, in regards to the forge....here's a guy with a coal forge that can explain the temps. needed.
