I bought some heifers afew years back to sell as 3's the next fall. They were bred to the chinook bull. Very easy calving and the calves were pretty good in the fall. I saved about a dozen of those heifer calves for replacements and they just had their first calf this spring. They look like they may be a little harder keeping than I would like, but that might coincide with the fact that they probably milk a little more than my own heifers. Disposition seems really good on them also. I know it's a small sample size but at least it's something.
