Chris Mathews (MSNBC) Not Worthy

of being a journalist.

On the "Morning Joe" show this morning he made this statement......

"As a journalist, it's my job to make sure this Presidency [Obama] is successful".

When Joe called him out on the carpet and explained that it's a journalists job to hold all politicians feet to the fire, Mathews could only hang his head and attempt to recant this serious blunder...................

Think about this statement folks. Especially those that have swallowed the Obama Koolaid. You've been snookered by the press all along....

Mike, Don't take this out of concept. It is all Americans job and desire to help make Obama's presidency successful. However justified criticism is a part of that job.

Chris Mathews did everything within his power to make the Bush presidency "UNSUCCESSFUL"!

Bush didn't need a speck of help to be unsuccessful. He's had an entire history of failure, with someone coming in behind him and cleaning up. I just hope Obama is up to the job of cleaning up this mess.

Matthews' is a reporter. It's not his job to do anything more or less than that let alone take sides. Just be a journalist. Most seem to have forgotten what the job description really is.

And look what a mess he's leaving for someone else to clean up.

Well, he was handed a recession and thought he'd reciprocate.

Funny thing though, all was going fine until the Dem's took the House and Senate.

the press think they are the news. they think it is thier job to tell us what to think and do.

they think it is the press that is important, not the news itself...

perfect case :
the ABC guy who was blown up in Iraq. they went ape **** over this, how he was a father/ husband and his family was all nervous. got him out of there, and flew him to a hospital, and gave him a heros welcome back ...blah blah blah..... but then the 45 other guys in the same situation the same day are just stats to toss out and make Bush look like an ass. the soldiers are cannon fodder to the press, they use tham to get an angle on a story.

if I were in Iraq, I would shoot one reporter for every 5 muslims. just to keep it on the up and up.

If things were reported as aggressively against Clinton you may feel the same way about him.

He left a recession, oil prices and gas prices were going up in record speed, so much Gore called for a selling of the Strategic reserves as part of his campaign platform. Clinton allowed the merger of of moderate oil companies into the Exxon Mobil we know today. He signed legislation that would lead to the housing and banking crisis we have today. He never went after the terrorist even though we were attacked numerous times under his watch, which led to thousands dying on 911.

If Bush got the same reporting you would hear about how despite inheriting a recession from Clinton and 911 he brought back the economy in record speed up until the point that Clintons banking and housing actions came full course the last year of his term. But you would also hear how a couple of years ago he realized the errors of Clinton and tried to do something about it but Barney Frank and other Democrats blocked it.

We would hear more about how Clinton put forth legislation and relations with China that sent more jobs over to China which now Bush gets the blame for.

You see you are a kool aid drinker and the flavor you been served is Pro Clinton and Anti Bush. You have no power of reasoning or fairness in looking truly at what one President did and how it affected the world years down the road.
