That will be a full day as it is 6 hours there and back, and I still do not know what to do with my other pets for that long.

I am asking my parents over for Christmas dinner . If they cannot make it , it will be just the two of us this year.

Just the two of us, eldest son and expectant DIL, and the dogs over Christmas. M&FIL going to another of the wife's sisters this year. As usual, the Good Lord will do most of the decorations again this year.

I like that pup. :D You will have to do a ranchers blog on her growing up. :D

We stay pretty close to home. All the kids (3) and 2 husbands will be here and my folks since they live in the yard. My sister and her husband will be down for a visit since her kids are both going the other way for xmas.

Guess i had better get some coyotes shot to decorate with.

We're probably going to have a wild Christmas... Got a house full of relatives coming, including my sister from Texas...
My son and his long time girlfriend are getting married on the 26th-- and its already a mad house with all the planning  ...I've stayed out of that- left it to the future DIL and MIL- and Grandma and the daughters...Only part I get to play is I get to perform the ceremony in the little Chapel at Fort Peck....

Christmas plans not finalized yet. Maybe hosting part of the family for lunch and going to the inlaws for the evening. I will be traveling less than a mile and eating way too much good food.

Just staying home to look after whats left of the horses and looking after the furnace. Hubby will go spend Christmas with his kids in Alberta if he's well enough to travel. I'm sure this will be his last Christmas.

Robin, a sandwich just is not a Christmas meal you need to have at the minimum a big juicy steak.. :)

We are not doing the traditional meal this year, we are having fillet minion on the grill, jumbo prawns , fresh green beans , wild asparagus ,sauteed shiitake mushrooms, whipped bake potato with the works and ciabatta bread with Gouda. Of course accompanied by our favorite red wine. Now that's a meal to be thankful for.

Broke Cowboy, Have a wonderful Christmas and hopefully you will have the next Christmas's to come at home with your lovely family. :)
be..
