class 1 vs class 3 wire

in your area is the few extra dollars for the class 3 wire worth it. I got Sulpher hot spring close and some mineral ground , in those areas I know it worth it.
The Highway department fence by me is high tensile 10 1/2 top & bottom ,inside is 12 1/2 , class 3 wire. Seem their fence way out last any other fences around.

I think fire will doom 1 or 3 either way, but other then a fire event, the minuscule percent the upgrade costs is money well spent. Additionally, hanging an extra wire doesn't increase expenses much, and keeps stock from working the fence.
