I like many types of music, across the board. From Cream (Clapton), CCR, The Eagles, ABBA (and many, many others too numerous to mention) to Alan Jackson, Toby Keith, Ian Tyson and The Sons Of The San Joaquin.

Although much of the newer Country doesn't trip my trigger, I love much of the old Country, like Marty Robbins, George Jones, Sonny James, Ray Price and Patsy Cline (again others too numerous to mention).

Two of my all time favorite popular songs are "Sweet Home Alabama" by Lynyrd Skynyrd amd "Brown Eyed Girl" by Van Morrison.

I don't care for Jazz, I don't like opera and I really hate Rap.

It is a long story but I stumbled on this video of "Come On Eileen" by Save Ferris. The original song was done by Dexy's Midnight Runners, a pretty goofy lookin' group but a cool song with many transitions. Does anyone else like it, or am I weird?

Must have been quite a party JF, you repeated yourself word for word.

That's strange. After I submitted that post, I didn't check back here again until just now.

In a further effort to defend myself, being snowed in at the ranch I spent a quiet New Years Eve by myself, Ranchers.net and a bowl game on TV. It was pretty uneventful.

Max Knoll, who liked his alcohol a little more than average, used to say that it was much better to be snowed out than snowed in.
