I wish I would have waited to trade my clunker, I could sure have used the gun. I got an ad this morning from Gander Mountian. They have one of the assualt rifles with a 30 bullet magazine. I going to get it and buy another magazine. I need it to go Deer hunting this fall. The old 30-30 just will not hack it anymore. The ad also said they had plenty of Ammo.

I can guarantee if she did'n hit the person they would still run like hell when they hear it go off. I have shot one once and it's not easy to shoot. You may point it at one place and end up at another when it's done. I have guns in the home and they are put up there my kids can't get them, but when they become of age to hunt they will be taught how to use them. I like this guy view, I wish I lived closer to him I would trade in my old truck just to get a AK47.
No problem here just pointing out that it is not needed for a deer rifle. Shotguns in our area when you are hunting may hold five shots but you better have them plugged for 3.Sandhusker said:hurleyjd said:Cal said:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FNmi-bBhWG8

That would be your choice. Is there a problem with that?
I doubt if these pickup buyers have a fully auto available to them.hurleyjd said:Trinity man said:We live about 30 minutes from town and I would like to have one for my wife when I'm not home. You are right about the control. A father let his son shoot one. It got away from the son and the son shot himself.

Most these guys have no idea the difference between semi automatic and full automatic. Or that some versions of a gun like the AK47 can be had in both.
I have no solution to this do any of you.

I agree that ever law abiding citzen has the right for self protection. Now is there any responsible way to keep it out of the hands of the crazys and mentally incompents. If something is not done about them then what. They are law abiding until they let loose and start killing people. I am not trying to take sides I am asking the question on how can this be taken care of in a responsible way. Are guns to easy to buy? Each and every time a crazy commits the deed then there will be a little more support for gun control. Do you submitt every one to a test to see if they are component to own a gun? I have no solution to this do any of you.
