This is absolutely amazing. I had to share. Enjoy!

This mural was unveiled not that long ago at the Cochrane Ranch House.

Each Tile is 1 foot square so it is a huge mural.

You can click on the tiles to see them in detail. Check out the horse's eye.

 Absolutly beautiful....I WILL stop and see that next time I go through Cochrane, thx for sharing that.

Gregs not quite as impressed as I am,he still has a bitter taste in his mouth after the Museam closed,we donated lots of money and did the trailride at Cypress to support that. :(

Its sad that the museum didn't fly. I know they did everything in their power to keep the funds coming in for it. The cost of the building was what killed it. Too many greedy planners and builders. :(
Now its the Town Hall. Oh well, at least someone is getting some use out of that big expensive building.
We donated to it as well, but didn't go on either of the fund raising rides.
I have the video from the first ride.

The first fund raising cattle drive was in 1990 and was called the CRHA "Hooves of History 1990",
I think it started south of Jumping Pound somewhere and ended up going down the main street of Cochrane to the rodeo grounds and ended with a rodeo. The cost to ride on that cattle drive was 1000.00 or donate a cattle beast...so no I didn't go, but was with them all in spirit :) .
The second ride was in 2000, but I don't know anything about that ride. I know it wasn't the same as the first.
I'll see if I can find a copy of the 1990 video, if not I'll see if I can copy my VSH copy to DVD and mail it to you.
