Concussion!

The other day we were working with the cattle, and my brothers' steer got turned around in the alley. Dad told me to slip a post on frint of him and slip the halter on him. I got the post in about half way, and whack! He took off like a bat our of you-know-where, and the post swung, and got me in the side of the head. I don't remember most of what hapopened for about the next half hour, except for a lot of bad words coming from me and some concern from the rest of them. When it was quitting time, they were trying to get me to go to the hospital, but I honestly thought I was fine, so I diddnt go. On monday at school, I couldnt concentrate, my vision kept going in and out of focus, I was nautious, (sp?) and my head hurt, so I went to the doctor. She said I had a minor concussion, and that I was lucky, an inch ahead it would have gotten me in the temple, and than we would have had some serious problems.

Anyways, it is starting to tick me off, no contact sports, no dirtbiking, no w0oking cattle, no nothing, so I said to myself, "self, let's stay in town and spend some time with the friends and mabye we will work up the guts to talk to the girl you like". Today, Cameron was driving around town with me, another friend, and his girlfriend. My phone starts singing. Ooh! I got a text! It was indeed, the girl I liked. I talked to her for a bit, and after some persuasion, they got me to ask her to come for a ride in camerons car... To my surprise, and delight, she said yes. So I spend a couple hours driving around town with the most amazing girl in the world beside me... Apparantly I am cute with a concussion, I should get hurt more often. lol.

I think I am going to ask her out

So thats what ive been doing I guess. lol.

Hopefully your last couple days were more adventureous and less painful then mine.

Cowrangler and Jingles are workin on a rubber /sheet metal bubble for me. maybe if you ask real nice they will build one for you too. Careful with that head of yours, you seem to rattle it a fair bit! They only issue one per custom of those type of melons!

Well I'm not sure what they will be charging, all I know is that there will be something on them that will allow a crane to lift you off the ground into the saddle. I'm hoping that there will be some sort of eyeholes! We hadnt really discussed that part  See your buddy wouldhave been just fine, if he had ordered a bubble

Part of being a teen, i'm afraid. Legs and stuff all over the place. Eventually everything fits and you will stop falling down :) But for now, think like Jello and you will always be just fine in a fall :)

Problem with concussions it seems as once you get one the second is a bit easier to get, at least it sure seams that way with football players... I have had my bell rung a couple of times in life but as far as I know have never had a concusion.. All though my brother tells me that if I actually got my bell rung with eyes rolling into back of my head and such, I probably at the very least suffered a mild one.. Eh... What does he know... He is only a doctor afterall

That being said, I was never addled after the fact (Sometimes before the fact I was but that is a whle other story) so I never felt the need to see a doc.. If I was out of it my wife would have drug me by my ear.
