Emily and Ty are both in AA playoffs right now-I coach Emily's team along with three other guys that are good hockey men for what it's worth I'm the head coach. Both kids are scheduled at the same time on Saturday five hours apart-this has happened alot all winter so I haven't seen Ty play much. The kicker is that Saturday's home game for Ty might be his last if things don't work out well. If he goes stateside to rodeo it probably will be-not an easy decision which kid to watch.

Either kid will understand. If your girl has more games left I would go with Ty. This advise is worth what you are paying for it though.

Emily is just a first year PeeWee-this could be Ty's last game ever-he has some Jr. A offers but he'll have to give them up if he goes to the states. I'm hoping it's not his last and they keep going in playoffs but you never know.

You probably got that right Per I'm kind of tough on my own sports wise. There's only two giorls in the whole league and I have both on my team. They switched to forward in AA boys hockey due to strength issues but are a tough 'D' pair in girls. They are trying out for AAA girls hockey in the spring might suit them better but way more travel. They did OK for the calibre of kids they played against this year.

I'd pick Ty...not because Emilys not as important but because those Ty years are ticking away faster then hers.

Proves what a good dad you are when you worry about missin one kids game....

I'm checking it out right now-a girl that Ty rodeoed with plays college hockey in Red Deer. I'm getting her to scout it out for me-I'll try and find out if any clinics etc Hanna could go to-I've watched it before it looks like fun.
