Back selling corn
10/5/2010 11:22 AM EDT
I suppose the Fed might be tempted to buy corn while they accumulate our nation's debt...I'm a scale up seller from 4.88 to 5.00...QE Corn- I like the sound of it..and yes Jim,it's about as liquid as the S&P futures today.. I'm looking to sell Mar Sugar back above 24.10
Position: short Corn
I'd bet most of these buyers and sellers of corn will never take delivery of what they buy nor do they have any corn in a field or bin to sell. Never will. But what they do does have a major effect on the livestock industry and farmers.[/b]
