Nice looking leguwaan, Mulga (African name for monito lizards), Does your neighbour irrigate the oats, do they have a summer and winter cropping?

I'd of hayed it...Nothing puts a shine on cows or a set of calves like feeding a little oat hay....

It was our own oats crop. in the forground of the photo we did cut hay at half a ton to acre We decided to reap as we need the seed and being a light crop it din't take long. We are winter croppers on this property hoping to cut for hay. Our usual rainfall is 16 to 17 inches This year we could only muster 8 to 9 inches and no wee dont irrigate.
Just of interest a 100 miles to west around the other farm the oats yeilded over 65 bushels to the acre
