as many of US know OT is awful fond of posting,.. and Obama, and uses his internet to support Obama to the point of idolization.

but how much is that support worth?

a cool million?

Sadly, it’s actually worse than that. Take the Montana project. The area is not in any meaningful sense unserved or even underserved. As many as seven broadband providers, including wireless, operate in the area. Only 1.5% of all households in the region had no wireline access. And if you include 3G wireless, there were only seven households in the Montana region that could be considered without access. So the cost of extending access in the Montana case comes to about $7 million for each additional household served.

no wonder he has such ardent Obama supporter..

and I'm pretty sure FH expressed her opinion against the stimulus. Yet, you, advocated for the waste, that has led to job losses, not job gains, as you told us it would result in?

While I have heard of some on here complain about the slow internet for years... and have seen how worthless wireless is in western South Dakota.. unless your just north of the water tower or over on that hill...

but is the cost worth it?

BTW thanks for taking the post with the humor it was intended as

OT, for your information, here in SE Montana we've had high speed internet for years.
Obama had nothing to to do with it.
We can thank Conrad Burns for the service.
Obama's internet stimulus went to Bozeman, Mt.
Could it be a payback for letting him use the airport hanger
at the airport for his so-called 'town hall meeting?'

Why not just put up a dish and get wild blue? People just don't get it, we are over spending beyond our means. Something has to change, this is not a game. We can not keep going on this path of spend and tax. We need to protect our nation if we still want to live here. People need to go hungry for awhile I guess to be happy for the simple things like food and health. All this pork, unions, retirement, social programs need a redo now and not ten years down the road. Think people this is serious!
