No because it would be a lie.

Well a LIE worked the last two times. :?

It wasn't A lie. It was AN enormous series of lies. I'll bet Obama's nighttime prayers even start out, "Now I lie before I sleep." :)

Soap, Soap, Soap.....haven't you figgered out by now he prays 5 times a day? While facing Mecca? And as far as the religion of peace is concerned, it's perfectly OK and acceptable to lie.

That President candidate would also have to adopt the Libertarian (old Repub) attitude of getting out of bedrooms/OB offices- promoting family values that half can't live up to- leaving much of the personal decisions to what historically made them - the individual, their Doctor, and their God....

They would also have to put the USA investments over all the foreign sovereignties they want to invade or play warmongering with...

They would also have to realize that their is a broad new world of science that has been accepted for years by most educated folks-- like evolution- and the fact that dinosaurs existed- and that just because a woman is raped does not mean she didn't want to become pregnant ...

The rightwingernut anti everything- take us back to pre Civil War days folks- have a long way to go before they start winning anything..

If the Republican party has to go as far left as to endorse abortion, gay rights, etc. Then they just as well disband and let the Democrats have it all.

"American needs no words from me to see how your decision in Roe vs. Wade has deformed a great nation. The so-called right to abortion has pitted mothers against their children and women against men. It has sown violence and discord at the heart of the most intimate human relationships. It has aggravated the derogation of the father's role in an increasingly fatherless society. It has portrayed the greatest of gifts - a child - as a competitor, an intrusion and an inconvenience. It has nominally accorded mothers unfettered dominion over the dependent lives of their physically dependent sons and daughters. And, in granting this unconscionable power, it has exposed many women to unjust and selfish demands from their husbands or other sexual partners.' Mother Teresa

You said a mouthfull Martin. Well said.

Sometimes it ain't all about winning elections either. Just having someone to keep the Left in somewhat of a check is better than nothing too.

Abortion may be constitutional, but I agree with mother Teresa on the outcome of Roe vs Wade.Bad parenting makes school shooters. And no amount of gun laws can ever change that.

That is a profound statement that was worth hearing. Thanks Martin.
