A couple of days ago- we moved the cow herds around and put the bulls together, So today while checking some fence I thought I better check out the cows/bulls and see how they were doing......
I found some of the cows hanging around one of the springs... While we are about an inch behind on rain- the rains have been coming at the right time and the grass doesn't look bad- and while some waterholes are getting low, the springs are all still running and keeping a little water in some...
This is a young bull- (Lazy Bar B Trackrunner #17506127)...He is a combination of some good Cole Creek and Ohlde bloodlines while throwing in a double dose of Basin Max 104J a couple generations back... A combination I hope works to make him a good momma cow maker...
Here- he and an old bull Juan (Lazy Bar B Juanada Rito 06X #16741353) fell in love with the same girl friend!
