When its 95 above out in Meadow lake you go out and build an otter slide into the dugout-this is a pretty exclusive redneck swim club not everybody gets in lol.

Yesterday's rodeo was a cooker...hot, muggy from recent rains and even SPF 50 did not keep me from getting burned!! Sure like the looks of the fun those kids are having!!Could have used a little of that ourselves yesterday!!! :D :D :D
BTW----the scuba gear looks pretty darned "rural" to me!!

My dad and his buddy used to try to scuba with the glass battery cover in a deep stock dam They had a hose run up under it and everything.

Dad said it was pretty hard to swim down, bet they wish they'd have thought of pushing each other down, but I think it's deeper than that, may not have worked.

Northern Rancher looks like you must be a pretty fun dad, always got those kids into something interesting.

Have a good one!

Lilly you'd llike our lakes up here then-you can see the bottom in 20-30 feet of water-that's where kids would like to spend all their time-we have a provincial park a half hour away that is great swimming and fishing from one end to the other.

Here's a link to our park-it really is a great place-after summer holidays you can go up there and almost have the place to yourself-those hiking trails are great -we hiked the Petahaygen trail on Mother's Day a couple years back-it's only 8 miles but I had to pack Emily on my shoulders the last three miles lol. Were lucky to live up in such pretty country for sure. You haven't lived till you've eaten fresh walleye fried in butter-almost sinful lol.

That scuba was one of the funniest dang things I've seen in a while. Hilarious. Next time I'm at a lake deep enough to do that, I'm gonna' have to try it.

How long does the air last? And how much do you have to trust that buddy up top

It lasts quite awhile and I'd never trust the guy on top lol. Those two boys dream up some of the darndest stuff. I used to run amuck with Ty's buddies Dad and his Granpa so I guess the apples didn't fall far from the tree.
