Mrs. Greg...

I'm so sorry to hear about the lil' tykes tough luck. As you guys know, being nurses, bone infections are tough.

My uncle (much older than your nephew  ) got bucked off, and some how ended up with his spur causing a compound fracture-so a open wound, compound fracture all caused by his spur. Odd deal-but the poducksville hospital didn't do a good job of disinfection and put pins and rods in, and infection set in. Not only did he about lose his leg, but also his life. Good news is today, 10 or 15 years later, he's alive and well!!! I hope the same is true for your little great nephew!

We'll be keeping him in our thoughts and prayers.

Cheers (and prayers too!)

TTB

Praying for the best possible outcome.........

((((((((((((((((((((( hugs )))))))))))))))))))))))))) for him and the rest of your family, too.

This is a tough deal to go through, Hubby's cousin's boy just did the same thing with a compound fracture of the leg........he finally got off the IV antibiotics in June, so he was on them a little over 5 months.

Well, the good news from your way is wayyyy better than the bad news.
Give that kid a hug from me, if ya would please.
Glad he is getting better. If he only knew that the time will pass really
fast. They don't know that tho, like us old folks do.
