Everything is copasetic on the Soapweed outfit.

Those calves are doing good.

That's a new, cool word, Faster Horses. Not having ever heard it used before, I did have to look it up. It might be "stretching" things just a little bit, as it probably doesn't apply all the time.

For instance, our brand new mower that we got the tail end of last haying season, has been nothing but trouble this year. Both bars broke a day apart, requiring two different sixty mile trips to Valentine on consecutive days. Then yesterday, one of the new bars broke. Peach Blossom was about ready to wither on the vine. She is a careful driver, and doesn't "cowboy" the haying machinery. The company will take the mower back to see if they can figure out what is wrong with it. Meanwhile, we got our old mower back to use for awhile. It is the one we traded in last year on the new one.

So maybe instead of "copasetic", the word "pathetic" would more appropriately apply. :)

I wondered if you'd catch that word. It is one that Mr. FH uses now
and again. Not much gets by you. I wasn't sure I spelled it correctly. :p

Sorry for your mowing troubles...but at least you have something to
mow.

I think thats funny- cause thats one I love to toss in a conversation to get strange looks quite regular...I can't even remember where I picked it up from- but think it was in an old movie....Either that or it was one of the attorneys I used to work with...Now I'll be thinking about that all day trying to remember

One of the better words to slip in on people. I used to have a rather large vocab (From my highschool english days and them preping us for SAT's and such) and although I never could spell them I did know them... I had a habit of using them and having people stare at me like what the heck was that word you just said... It got down right funny.... I still don't think they were fancy words but I guess they weren't common among 18-22 year olds.

Being kind of a red neck simple country boy, instead of tangling my tongue and trying to say "copasetic", I'd probably just say "hunky-dory" instead.

I think George on Seinfeld used it a couple of times. I had an Italian co-worker who used it from time to time and my dad used it occaisionally.

I have used it to end meetings. Works great there.
