Anyone done or doing the Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program? I could get $200 ancre and get 21 acres or more in it. For a small it is tempting to sell the cows and get out. Any things I might be overlooking?
When I loked at it the payment I would receive would be close to the going rate, but at the end of the contract I would lose ALL my water rights. So my land would devalue drastically after the contract.
