Cruz Claims "Landslides"

Cruz claims he's won 'landslides over and over' beating Trump in five consecutive states – even though only one of them held an election

Cruz has added to his convention delegate count by appealing to party activists convening in states with no primary elections

He said on 'Good Morning America' that 'we have won five [states] in a row, and Donald's upset so he's throwing a fit'

Cruz insists he is winning 'grassroots' victories and claims: 'This is how elections are won in America'

These delegates were or were not elected by the people of the State?

They did or did not follow their state's republican party rules?

I know, they probably changed all these state rules just for Donald right? Like Colorado that obviously knew they could screw Donald when they passed their rules in August before any real sense of the race could be known. I'm sure that their reasoning of changing their rules because of the national party rules were altered had no bearing on it. It was obviously to screw with Donald.

If he's such a great conservative, wonder why he doesn't just focus on winning over the "elected" delegates?

Nah, it'd be easier to just cry and moan that the rules aren't fair, unless they benefit him. But no body is fair to Deceiving Donny, just ask him.

And Ted is winning by landslides? Better get ready for Kasich to be the nominee. Cause that's who the RNC wants it to be.

Social media posts, along with Cruz’s campaign website, reveal that Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)
supporters in the Colorado Republican Party were responsible for crushing an effort to give Colorado the ability to vote in a state primary.
In May of 2015, four Colorado Senate Republicans killed an initiative “to create a presidential primary in 2016,” reported the Denver Post. “Under the bill, Colorado would have held a presidential primary in March that ran parallel with the state’s complicated caucus system… when it came before the Senate Appropriations Committee, four Republicans voted to kill the bill with three Democrats supporting it.”

The four Republicans who voted against the initiative were Sen. Kevin Grantham, Sen. Kent Lambert, Sen. Laura Woods, and Sen. Jerry Sonnenberg.

On Cruz’s campaign website, Sens. Woods, Grantham, and Lambert are all listed as Cruz supporters and as declared members of Cruz’s “Colorado Leadership team.”

Everyone knew Cruz was running for President this election. Everyone.

for the most part I wish Trump would just "grow up" ,.. but the grass roots Tea Party supporter that I am knows he is right on this issue..

When I followed the McCain campaign it was obvious the process was rigged,.. and if Trump was honest he would first admit that the early primaries that he benefited from are rigged as well

if anything good comes out of this election, I hope it is that the Primary process be fair and favor the voter and not the party. otherwise the party is over as far as most folk are concerned

:agree:

However, no one can say Cruz doesn't play by the rules.....and he doesn't try to change the rules in states he has been the loser.
Trump didn't have a problem with the system in Nevada, which he won. He's just a spoiled rich kid.

Hearing the 24-7 news about New York has made a few points interesting

ol progressive New York,..

is a closed primary.. you can only vote if you are a member of a party..

you have to register way ahead of the election.

and they do not have early voting.

they require you to have a "valid" excuse to use the absentee ballot

The rural areas of New York have been decimated with job loses over the last few decades, so I would imagine even they will go with Trump.

It will be interesting to hear how this turns out...

I would just like to know what is "Democratic" (not the party) about voting for a delegate that is unbound and can vote for anyone he/she chooses? Especially when you have no idea who they are and how they lean.....................

Don't you see that the RNC Insiders (RINO's) are using Cruz to take delegates away from Trump with no intentions of making Cruz the nominee?

Voters have gone to the polls in droves during the Republican primaries, putting turnout on a record pace, yet the decision about who will be the ultimate nominee is increasingly likely to rest with fewer than 2,500 party insiders.

Here's something from the last republican primaries.. It's pretty glaring of how the media screws with them.
