After all the Obama/Romney talk about Cuba I was just wondering why we should be scared of Cuba of all things!!

I say go in there...build a WalMart w/ a Micky D's and AutoZone that sells parts for cars made in the ' 50's &60's and whammo you'll change it within less than 6 months I'd say. Let anyone and everyone who wants to go....GO!

Castro , et.al will be gone!

No troops needed!

It's not Cuba itself anyone is concerned with. It's the lunatics they have a track record of aligning themselves with.

Take the Venezuala Pres. for example...................................

I never could figure out why we can trade with Communist China, Communist N. Korea, Communist Vietnam, etc. etc.-- but they banned Cuba...
Mexico's corrupt government and drug cartels are a bigger risk to us than Cuba....

some say we got it wrong way back in 59 with Castro...

Castro’s rebel forces entered the capital on January 8, 1959.

Fidel Castro became Prime Minister of Cuba in February 1959

Castro flew to Washington, DC in April 1959, but was not met by President Eisenhower, who decided to attend a golf tournament rather than meet with Castro...

but thats a whole other debate..

as for Walmart..
There are unions in Cuba, with a membership totaling 98% of the island's workforce.

Castro could have been moderated...and still could be dealt with... I would actually lower the amount a person could send to Cuba in cash,... but lift all other sanctions... except travel for November (as they vote republican).....
