I guess some of us can and others of you can't. :p

Or maybe you guys are too "whipped" by your wives, and they won't let you grow any beard or mustache.

Personally, I nerver could figure out why anyone would care what someone else did with their hair, on their heads or their face.

Some people just must have too much time on their hands or are so arrogant as to think they have all the answers or are the only ones who know what is proper and right. :???:

Kind of like telling other people, what their hats should look like.

I've been contemplating starting my winter growth again...I really like the warmth of a beard in the winter- sure protects the face...But the last time I did was a couple years ago and it was pretty grey- kids gave me a bad time about looking like Santa- Wife wanted to get me one of those $1000 a week jobs sitting in the mall with the kids wetting on you  And I know its lots whiter now......

I just dread the first few weeks of itching......

I think I've only had my mustache gone once in the last 40 years- and that was when a bomb went off and burned half it off- looked so funny I cut the whole thing off...Kids sure looked at me funny as they had never seen me without... Left it off for a couple years ( partly because I was healing my face up)- then started feeling "nekkid" and grew it back.....

I can grow a pretty darn good mustache, but can't seem to keep from chewing on it "just one hair at a time" after it's in place. It gets to looking ratty, so I whack it off. Only grew a beard one time, back in 1985. My old great-uncle and his sister, my grandmother, just really didn't like beards. It was rather ironic, that my great-uncle died about then, and I was one of the pall-bearers. Enough of my cousins also had beards that winter, that four of the six of us were so decorated. May he rest in peace, anyway. :)

Somethin else I've wondered.........We've all seen the women with mustaches.........but what I wonder is.....if that woman goes n gets her upper lip waxed....or whatever and her mustache is gone, do her kids say, "Mom, grow it back!!! you don't look like yerself!!!" :lol2:

Greg can grow a pretty good beard and now starts one every Nov. hunting season, hates doing chores without a beard. But man on Man the red that used to be sprinkled in his black beard is now white, I tease him he could play Santa for our nieces and nephews, and grandboy for our family Christmas get together....he frowns upon this suggestion.

Mr. FH grew a mustache once. It looked real nice. He chewed on it, just like Soapweed. It drove him nuts. He also was very self-conscious about it. Don't know why, it looked darn good. Anyway, after worrying about it for so long, he shaved it off. No one even mentioned it. He was so worried about what people thought, and they didn't think a thing about it one way or the other.

I thought that was funny. What we put ourselves through...

Yer posta trim it  , ever time I sit Mr Lilly down for a hair cut his mustache gets trimmed too...he perdy much takes care of trimmins in between haircuts tho. LOL

I never trim mine. Well, just the one side, on the end , when it gets a little longer. It basiclly takes care of it's self. I tyry to keep it swept back, away from my mouth, a little. 'Specally, when I'm eatin.

I've had it trimmed by brandin' fires a time or two, tho'. :D

Nope, not on purpose. :D

When me and the little woman was goin' together, she was a smoker. One day, she reached around my shoulders with her arm, like she was going to hug me, and "flicked her bic"!

Sure shortened up that side a little!

I got even with her and also for the two times she zapped me with a hotshot for fun, by marryin' her and makin' her suffer, "for lo, these many years", tho'!
