If you folks in the Dakotas collect all the dirt for me thats blowing your way, I'd appreciate it...Anything else packing a Lazy Bar B brand too    :(

Temps about 55- and I think the sun is shining- but the dust is blowing so bad you can't see it for the dust clouds :( 50 mph winds with gusts near 70 all morning...Sounds like the whole state is getting it as I talked to my son who's down at the Midland Bull Test for a sale- and he said its howling there...Said he had so much dirt in his eyes looking at cattle that he couldn't see anything wrong with any of them if they had a problem  Figures driving that 8100 big block pulling that trailer back into the wind he should make it from gas station to gas station  On Dads credit card :( :(
At least they are saying the wind is supposed to go down to 20-30 mph with only 40 mph gusts toward evening....

Strong NW wind blowing here today Oldtimer, you should have some of our snow to wet things down and keep your dirt at home by tommorow. No charge. :D :D

That wind moved some ground in southern Alberta yesterday too i guess-we've still got snow all over up here. '72 was like this up here we had a mare foal on April1 with no bare ground showing yet in the pics I took.

Its not stopping here Oldtimer. 40mph with gusts to 60 here. Along with the extreme fire index, things could get interesting.
Just watched 3 guys trying to close a 4 strand barbed wire gate!

What do you do in Florida if its raining :???:

Weather boys missed it as they said the wind would go down after 6PM--still blowing 40mph gusting to 55... Kid called me from Grass Range and he said between Billings and Grass Range- 100 miles- he burned 20 gallons of gas and was only traveling about 50 because of the winds-- made 5 miles per gallon- and he really doesn't have that heavy a load with 4 yearling heifers and 2 yearling bulls in a 22 foot gooseneck....But he sounds pleased-even with the wicked trip home-- as he got the number one heifer we had picked out (a Cole Creek Goldmere 31N sired out of Cole Creek Juanadamere 102R)---plus was able to pick up a couple of Shoshone Encore influenced heifers...

Well...FL weather is a fickle deal. It can rain 1" in about 30 minutes...then the sun come out and & clear off and go back to 80F in a flash. Then not rain at all OR do it all over again in about 45 minutes or so.

If it's not a crash-boom-bang storm....us Southern folks don't get to upset about getting wet in a rain storm.

Stay on the beach is an option ( if no lightning around)...me I went shopping     when it started up raining.

Heck, OT...there's always something to do on a rainy day!!!
