Daughter Won--I Think I Lost!!

My youngest daughter got a phone call from the Billings Metra today...They informed her that she was the winner of a 8 day trip for two to Florida which includes a 3 day cruise to the Bahamas... :D :D
She had signed up for it during the NILE and I guess the drawing was today...

Now the bad news--they told her that for a few hundred dollars more she could take as many as 4 in the party-- and now Grandma thinks we should go along

Florida weather in Decembe/January sounds nice-- but I just am not a beach or Ocean or City person...About the last place on earth I'd want to vacation at would be the Bahamas-- and I've outgrown Disneyworld...I can see this is going to take some finagling to get out of.....

Now if it was a trip to the NFR :D :D

Careful OT lotsa scam trip offers out there. Did they ask for her credit card number?

No.. I think its legit-- as the phone call came from Metra offices --and she remembers signing up for it during NILE...Anyway she's supposed to stop and pick up the package next week when she gets back to Billings...

We had relatives to visit who leased a place in the southern end of the Bahamas chain of islands (Long Island) and it was remote and wonderful. You could even skinnydip there OT- wouldn't have to weigh down your suitcase with a bikini. Just wear it on your head as sun protection!

I can just picture OT on a nude beach with just his cowboy boots on. You might want to take your hat along just in case you want or need to cover up once in awhile!!

Thank you for all the advice-- I think .... Don't own no flip-flops, thongs, or even shorts -- would starve to death if I had to live on sushi-- don't go ANYWHERE without my hat--can't swim, and contrary to what I try to convince my grandkids, I can't really walk on water....
Grandma's been exceptionally quiet about the whole thing-- means shes working up some scheme!!!!

Bahamas  --I wonder what kind of cows they run there...I'll have to see how this plays out....
