Daylight Savings Time

Remember to set your clocks forward 1 hour- or you'll be late for Church-- which I've seen happen more than once on change day....

In the US, 2009 Daylight Saving Time begins on Sunday, March 8 at 2 AM and ends on Sunday, November 1 at 2 AM as well. Time moves ahead one hour in March while it moves back one hour in November (hence the saying "Spring forward, Fall back").

I'm sorry, but who was the smart politician that came up with this? Nevada don't change their time ever. I wish they'd pass that in CO. Good thing we attend church Saturday night! :D

Why do they always have it change on a weekend? Thats and hour away from my wife and kids. Could they ever have it change on a week day.

You lucky Canadians. I don't care which way they go, I just wish they'd leave it one way or the other. I hate the time change.

And they change it on the weekend so you have a day to get
used to it before you have to be to your job, school, etc

An old neighbor told me this one time--and he's more right today
than ever.

"If you don't have any problems, just wait. The government will
give you some."

It is an age old argument between urban and rural up here, we could get an extra hour in they say. Well get up in the morning an hour earlier and you can.

We don't change our clocks here either, and that suits me just fine. I'll probably miss a few tv shows for a while till I get used to the new times, but I think I shall survive

<sigh> I hate DST. While we don't switch, I deal with suppliers all over that do, and I can never remember whose where and what time it is.

Is Manitoba the same time as us now?

Silver: Just DL the shows off the Internet. :)
