Deabates Last Night

I built up a big fire and poured me a libation to settle in and watch the Dem debate on CNN last night.

After only a few minutes in to the contest the sparks started flying and the mud started slinging.

I held on to my objectiveness and was determined to see through each candidate and try to find the good of the country, or the best suited person on the Dem side for the job.

Afterwards, I was truly ashamed for our country and ashamed of our election process.

A question: (Now that they've been whittled down to 3)

(Please answer without throwing off on the other side)

Does anyone feel that these candidates are the absolute best this country has to offer?

Not one of them looks "Presidential" and not one of them acts "Presidential". At least Kerry "Looked" the part. :???:

To be honest all the way ' round....the ' best', most qualified, etc, etc, people for the job don't want the hassle of the job nor would they want to take a cut in pay for the job!

I've got to say John Edwards did good to stay beyond the ' fray' and that may have gained him some quality ground overall.....but Hillary looked like she wanted to take a newspaper to Obama and just smack him!!!

Hillary is using Bill way too much to do her dirty work, and in the process, lying about a lot of things just to get the sound bite in (or letting Bill do it).

I would be ashamed if I were a democrat claiming that Bill Clinton is still head of the party.

It is still unclear if Hillary is elected whether Bill will step down. He hasn't so far.

I only watched portions-- but Hillary was not impressive...She reminded me of one of those women that wants to by one of the "guys" and goes into the bars and argues and cusses with the guys until someone says something that she takes as the least bit offensive toward her--and then she's screaming for hubby and got hubby over there swinging at people- picking fights over the "honor" of his wife... SHEEEESH

John Edwards was the winner by keeping out of the arguments.......

I don't think much of any of those 3 but mostly I'm tired of giving away the usa and they all 3 want amnesty (as does Guilliana and McCain) and they want us to have a presence in other countries (and I'm tired of being world police nor can we afford it) ........... none of them mention how the Federal Reserve is to blame for this subprime mess and how much they steal the American people's money by charging us interest on our own money. If we printed our own money and charged banks interest we could do away with IRS and poverty in the USA.

Hillary reminds me of my Aunt Carrie, doesn't matter what you talk about, she knows it all and has been there and done that.

Not to mention that all three of these (as well as McCain, Thompson, Romney and Huckabee) are on the council of foreign relations who is promoting a one world global government. So it doesn't matter how much they fight amongst themselves they will promote globalizing.

MoGal Not to mention that all three of these (as well as McCain said:
You are right makes no difference which one of them might win they all belong to the same club and answer to the same hidden power.
If the Democrats dont have a good person running maybe they ought to change their status for this election and help vote a good man in. You could always change back next year. :)
Or foget party names and be A good American and work to support a man who will help us get control of our Govt back.

I think the globalists are going to lose out. Exposure is getting to them. People all over are beginning to wake up. More people are turning to prayer and I think the good Lord will hear us.

Hill and obam fighin on a public debate ought to show people its the same old same old from years past. Who needs it. Things have not gotten better in the past 30 yrs. I think its time for a real over haul in the US
