Darn it Haymaker- we got your rain- and also got some of that white hard rain too... Penny to 3/4 inch size hail- but the wind wasn't too bad- and the hail didn't last long so hopefully it didn't hurt the wheat too much....

But we did pick up .45 more of rain.....

I hope you get your rain soon Haymaker, we finally got ours, just a little north of 3 inches in the last 4 or 5 days. Kinda late for the hay, but it'll really help the oats.
Dang elk are gonna eat us out of house and home looks like. They can sure make a marginal crop look poor.
I'll try and send some rain your way in exchange for some sunshine and heat.

We got our share early last week. You can have all you want until we get tired of haying and need a break Haymaker. All of you still in a drought are in our thoughts and prayers.

While I'm never unhappy at rain- I'd kind of prefer the same thing so we could finish up haying...
At least this rain came in the right places- only .1 on the hay meadows- while the pastures and wheat fields 30 miles north got 1.5"...That makes 3.3 inches there in the last 10 days :D :D :)
Creeks are even running again....

If that skinny old Texas goat herder ran "nekid" to the barn the Good Lord probably would laugh til he cried.
