I watched Dick Morris comment on Twitter and read his and other comments after the
debate and without a doubt, Joe Biden did himself some damage with his
lack of respect for the moderato,r (which I thought did a lousy job--but
at one point Morris said Biden was debating her!!) and for Paul Ryan and
for the office of which Biden holds. The discussion wasn't about so much as
who won, but how they conducted themselves. Morris would have liked
Ryan to have not acted so timid and called Joe on some of the stuff he
was spewing.
A friend called that had been listening on the radio and he said they were
fact-checking much of what was being said, and Joe lied a lot. So that will
be on the news tomorrow.
Morris thought that Ryan should have gone back to Solyndra and talked
about that failure. But he said the debate wasn't going to change much,
if anything.
And did you all hear that Romney is ahead 7 points in Florida?
Oh, and some of the comments were from Independent voters who hadn't
made up thier mind, but when they saw Biden in action they said they were voting for
Romney/Ryan. I thought that was interesting. I guess respect for
the office makes a big difference, as it should.
Oh and I read a remark from Obama. He was proud of Joe.
