Just got in with wet legs and feet. Boy that fire looks good. Is the ferry pic on the coast? The crafty stuff is very nice, you are a person of many talents.

Nice group of pics again JB. Your blankets look very professional.

I had a good chuckle at your comment about the moose. We fed lots of them until we got our stackyards built high enough. We have one left to rebuild and the moose are hitting it hard right now.

Back in the late 80's and before the loggers opened this country up for the slaughter, I can remember chasing 67 moose out of ONE stackyard one morning. There were more in the other yards but never made the whole rounds that day.

This ferry isn't on the coast, its an inland ferry. This one crosses the Francois Lake. This is the one we all here on the "southside" take to get back and forth to town and beyond.

I've been building horse blankets for 15 years... used to do all the sewing for a company that made them. I still have my first blanket thats still in great shape and is over 15 years old now. It has a couple of tears in it that I've patched only because of Brannah chewing on it as a puppy

67 moose is a lot of moose!! did ya put any in the freezer?
We have some moose here, but not near the amount there used to be.
I think they need to shut down the season here for a few years. Winter of '06/'07 was really hard on the wildlife here with close to 4 ft of snow in one dump. Lots of moose and deer lost from wolves. The old girl in the picture is pretty lame on her right hind. She may not make the winter if a wolf bogs her down. There is one other cow thats hanging around too, so I have 3 mangling my hay stack :x

I'd like to help, but drapes aren't really up my ally..... but people getting those kind of prices for makin them I might have to look into it  .
I know other people that were quoted those same kind of prices. I know some fabrics can get expensive, but not like that!
