ROTFLMAO

THE RACISM OF CLIMATE CHANGE

Do you all have your racial chips on your shoulders? Good. Because here we go ... House Majority Whip James Clyburn, a Democrat from South Carolina, says that climate change is now an issue of race. Keep in mind that this man is one of the top ranking politicians in Washington.

This is the mentality that is currently running the show, folks.

Yesterday at the National Press Club in Washington, Clyburn said, "It is critical our community be an integral and active part of the debate because African-Americans are disproportionately impacted by the effects of climate change economically, socially and through our health and well-being."
Where does he get this horsesqueeze?

From a "climate justice" advocacy group called the Environmental Justice and Climate Change Initiative which wrote a report which states, "Though far less responsible for climate change, African-Americans are significantly more vulnerable to its effects than non-Hispanic whites ... Health, housing, economic well-being, culture, and social stability are harmed from such manifestations of climate change as storms, floods, and climate variability."

Poor poor pitiful victims of climate change ... and victims of evil white people at the same time. Are you believing this crap?

To get an idea of where this Environmental Justice and Climate Change Initiative is coming from ... J. Andrew Hoerner is the co-author of this report on racism and climate change.

Hoerner told the Business & Media Institute that "solutions to climate change should be designed in a way so investors don't reap all the benefits." In other words, this man doesn't want private businesses to make a profit from climate change solutions. And why is that?

Come on, folks! Haven't you been listening? Profit is a dirty word to the environmental crowd because the environmental movement isn't about climate change. It isn't about the environment. It's about destroying capitalism and the free market.

This man wants to use the force of government to make sure that this money is redistributed to the "poor."

So just how does this "climate justice" group plan to redistribute this money? They suggest slapping businesses with a "fee, tax or allowance auction on polluters."

This money would be used to "eliminate the financial burden on low-income and moderate-income households." And this would pay to reduce global warming. And these people know for a fact that government involvement means higher costs.

They know this! But here is the rationalization from J. Andrew Hoerner: even though this scheme would cause product costs to increase, the revenue from the fees or tax would be redistributed to (poor) consumers to offset the higher costs.

You can't make this stuff up. You go ahead and stay on the man-made climate change bandwagon as long as you like ... but the longer you ride the dumber you look. This is about destroying capitalism. Wake up, folks, and smell the tired old Marxists.

I thought this was going to have a different twist, I figured they discovered Black people were the cause of Global Warming, since Black attracts heat.

I could see it being the KKK's new slogan, "Get rid of Blacks, to stop Global Warming and save the planet"

You mean you don't back your chosen Champions praise of Al Gore and his following of those beliefs about global warming... :???:

Looks to me like if we use Rush's definition we get a communist either way-- and one wants to be a warmonger and nation builder- with all his thoughts on Bomb Bomb Bombing..... :???:

And McCain also had high praise for the 2000 Democratic presidential candidate Al Gore and his advocacy on the issue of climate change. McCain recently raised eyebrows in GOP circles by calling “doable” Gore’s suggestion that the country could become entirely energy independent through use of renewable resources within 10 years.

“I agree with his goal,” the Arizona senator said Monday of Gore’s idea. “I may disagree with all the ways of getting there. But I again want to emphasize my respect for the former vice president’s leadership on this issue and his continuous leadership. And I am in no way trying to get into a fight with him.”

Are you that dimwitted???? How many times do you have to be told that Sen. McCain is NOT my candidate of choice!!!! When it comes to voting for a sometimes misguided conservative or a out-right socialist, for me, there is no choice!!! At least with McCain, we have a chance to change his positions...such as with off shore drilling.
