It looks like the dems just can't cut, all they know how to do is spend Our and our kids money.

Will obama have to hitch hike back to DC

Maybe we should just let the govrnment shut down. Would probably find out we didn't need most of the 800,000 workers anyway.

I just hope the majority of voters are watching the debates on C-Span, it should have an impact on 2012 elections, hopefully. Surely most on R net are watching.

do you think the fearmongering and lying the Libs. are doing will affect their chances that much.

I loved the one that Pelosi got caught in the other day about seniors being able to get their free meals.

she was talking in the millions and did not realize that the agency she was talking about does not even get their funding from the budget item she was afraid of being cut.

Or the story relating the cuts to "bombing civilians"

so yes we are watching and it is funny listening to the democrats whine about a budget they could have passed 9 months ago (last June) with out a problem...

I was watching when Harry Reid was whining about planned parenthood getting shut down and how it would leave his wife, daughters and 19 grandchildren with out a heath care provider..

and all I could think is "What a cheap bastard",.. "to send your family to a free clinic when your worth millions"

Is that what I said???????? I'm just giving the American people the benefit of a doubt--they are smart enough to make up their own minds.

No, Happy! If most Americans are watching- this helps people make up their minds one way or the other!

Most have already made up their minds. And it's not looking good for Dems.

the lottery is random numbers and chance. Elections are based on trends, recent history etc.

All you have to do is to put the majority of the pieces together to get a realistic picture.

But you, evidently, think you can read the future. Who is going to win in 2012? Tell us, I'd like to know. Personally I hope its an Independent. And if you are so sure you could be a rich person (you may be anyway) just by betting on the outcome. As Otimer says Good Luck :)

As it stands now, I think obama will win in 2012, but I believe the Republicans will regain the majority in the Senate and gain further seats in congress.

I've mentioned before that I think the senate is the prize for Repubs. in 2012, not the Presidency. In my opinion, reign him in, but restrict his power. it will damage the Dem. party for years to come. the next time people even think about voted for a Dem. President again, they will take a second look and properly vet the candidates.

"who will win"? I was not talking about one person in particular, but the Democratic party.

Carter.. Reagan, ( 8 ) Bush 1, ( 4 ) Clinton...

it appears 20 years ago the memory span was less the 12 years.. and by the look of most current events the attention span is getting much shorter..

so I would say that giving up on ousting Obama in 12' is a bad if not stupid policy..

vote him in, but impeach him later.

As it stands now, I believe he will win, and he will attempt to move even further left, but that's why a Repub. Senate is so important.

A credible and very solid case for impeachment will be presented in 2013. What's the punishment for treason?

for some reason Democrats have been watching and supporting the overthrow of socialist dictatorships lately.

But what they fail to notice is that they are all socialist dictatorships and what they are promoting in the US at present is socialist dictatorships.

2013 will be the year they understand.

  Yes the American voters are smart enough to make up their own minds hence the Historical loses for the Dems in Nov 2010. To bad the Democrat Politicans aren't smart enough to recognize the message the Smart American Voters sent them. If they were there would not be a debate on cutting spending that is risking a government shut down.

I'm not sure the Republicans recognized the message sent either.

I don't think anybody really fully realises the effect of the TEA parties either! Anybody! The formerly silent majority has found their voice.
it is a game changer from politics as we knew it.
