Democrats Give In To Iran

There is no greater threat in the world right now than that posed by the Islamic terrorists who are running Iran. Depending on whom you believe, the mullahs either already have a nuclear weapon, or are close to getting it. Once they do have a fully functioning nuclear warhead, you can expect them to use it. Their target: Israel.

Iran has pledged to wipe Israel off the map. You can expect them to follow through and do it. The president of Iran, a psychopath named Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has rattled his saber and said everything he possibly can to provoke the west. There is a very real possibility that we're going to have to bomb these lunatics back to the stone age.

And it's not just Israel. Iran is a state supporter of terrorism, with well-worn ties to Al-Qaeda. We have to assume that as soon as they develop their nuclear weapon, they'll sell it to Zarqawi, Osama Bin Laden and their cronies. It is the single greatest national security threat we have faced since the Cold War.

So while the rest of us are staring down the barrel of Iran's nuclear gun, the Democratic leadership has weighed in on the threat posed by Iran. First up, Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid. He says we can't do anything militarily in Iran because of Iraq. He also blamed George W. Bush for the situation....as if Bush was somehow responsible for the installation of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Blame, blame, blame. It's all the left knows these days.

Then we hear from Delaware Senator Joe Biden this morning. He's worried about how Iran might fight back. He says what Bush should really do is fire Don Rumsfeld. Yeah..that will help the situation. So the answer to the threat we face from Iran from the Democratic party seems to be a familiar refrain: we should appease Iran and oh, by the way, it's Bush's fault. Now that's a solid strategy.

Of course, there is one lone Democratic who isn't derelict in his oath to support and defend the United States. That's Connecticut Senator Joe Lieberman, who says he would support an attack on Iran. At least somebody in the minority party gets it.

I think it's all part of the left's secret strategy on immigration...to eliminate us as a safe, prosperous society that draws people here hoping to live the American Dream; thus ending the immigration problem.

The American dollar is .387 grains of silver, 999 true of one ounce of silver. That what it was when it was created and that is what it is now. One silver dollar US currency will still buy the same amount of fuel as you could buy in 1969. As far as terrorists go, the terrorists in the world today are MI6 and CIA, because our finance today are a fiat currency.

(Definitions of Fiat)

1. official sanction: a formal or official authorization of something

2. arbitrary order: an authoritative and often arbitrary command

Fiat currencies normally last 40 to 50 years. US fiat currency has lasted 70 years. It is due to fall; is falling and our War with Iraq and Iran will only prolong this currency for another 20 to 30 years and yet, it will still fall. At this point it either goes bankrupt and fails or it esculates to the point of a default.

(Recommendations)
Return to the "GOLD" standard.

Democrats Give In To Iran

Democrats haven't given in to anything. Iran is a serious problem that requires serious work. All Bush seems to be able to do is threaten them.

They do not have a nuclear weapon. They have allowed the UN and other agencies in to inspect their plants. This is hype. More scare tactics by uninformed people like you.

I seriously doubt that the US is going to bomb these people back to the stone age. If we drop nukes on Iran, we'll contaminate that area for generations, not to mention our allies in that region would be unhappy. I don't think the American people will support bombing Iran. Yes, something has to be done. What? Apparently our president only has one way to handle a threat to this country: attack them. And, in case you missed it, the Iranian people elected their president. He's not a dictator or military strong man. He's the legally elected head of a country.

You're right, Iran is the threat that Bush laid at Saddam's feet. He's squandered our credibility, our military and our money getting Saddam.

Bush bears the blame for much of our problems with Iran. With apologies to our Canadian posters, if China invaded and took over Canada, would our government be willing to negotiate with them? I doubt it. Would we be willing to accept their direction on what sort of weapons systems we could or could not build? That's what's happend in Iran. The US supported Saddam Hussein in his long war with Iran. Bush named them as a member of his "Axis of Evil." Not likely to give Iran a warm, fuzzy, feeling for the US, is it? George W. Bush invaded Iran's neighbor because he wanted to. Now he's telling them they can't have nuclear weapons. This is a dangerous, bad situation, and, no, the fact that Iran wants nukes isn't Bush's fault, but his rejection of our allies, the UN, refusing to talk to N. Korea, his unwarranted incursion into Iraq, have all hurt our ability to respond to the threat in Iran.

I would expect Iran to fight back if we invade them. Wouldn't you? Donald Rumsfeld is incompetent. All you have to do is look at the way he managed Iraq. He should be replaced for the safety of the military and this country. Joe Biden didn't say we should appease Iran. That's a flat lie.

Of course, there is one lone Democratic who isn't derelict in his oath to support and defend the United States. That's Connecticut Senator Joe Lieberman, who says he would support an attack on Iran. At least somebody in the minority party gets it.

And Liberman is in serious trouble in his district. He's facing some well-financed competition for the nomination. He says if he doesn't win the Democratic primary, he'll run as an Independent. He's so out of step with the party, he may actually lose his seat. That would be a fall equal to Tom DeLay. From VP nominee to public citizen and from the most powerful man in the House to jail. Ok, ok, he's not in jail yet, but Delay is going to spend a lot of time in the courtroom in the near future.
