Newt was just on Hannity and Colmes- and just brought up some of the same issues I did in that post...
Newt must be going Lib now- eh? :???:
So since your logic lines up with the likes of Newt you think you're right? You're wrong even if the pope agrees with you.

Nope- doesn't make me right- but its refreshing that someone with the expertise in politics and government as Newt is interpreting whats happening the same as I am...

But since the two of us can look at this without putting on rose colored glasses now makes us both Libs- eh

Nope, newt is a conservative. On what points did you agree? The thought that the dems will have a big day in november? Some communists , and socialists also agree with you. Does that make you a communist? I doubt it.

He agrees with me that the current Republican party as a whole are not conservatives or following conservative values...He said that in 1994 they set out on a true conservative plan and followed it (and I agree) and in 2000 something happened that they all forgot about how conservatives are supposed to act- and that the last 7 years hasn't been a conservative administration and that Republicans either forgot or threw out all these conservative values that had made them so strong( which I again agree)....

He also predicted that the Dems are going to massacre McCain and the Republicans just like Johnson did to Goldwater (which I had forgot was that bad, so had to look it up to get the figures)- and was using some of the same numbers that I had posted in the above post for comparison---and that this trend would continue until Repubs shifted their beliefs....

Figgers. Most law enforcement types have no problem talking out of both sides of their mouth at the same time. Mark Fuhrman was just the tip of the iceberg.

I couldn't figure out how law enforcement figures got involved either... :???:

Apparently he's had a bad experience with law enforcement figures  (no big surprise there to me  ) -- and I've had terrible experiences with Loomix and Loomix salesmen/distributors- and it would be the last supplement on earth that I would ever use again......

All of them if they are a state or country that supports terrorism. ALL OF THEM. Clear enough?

Thats scarey!!-With those beliefs we would have blown up the world years ago in a war with the USSR and China....Luckily folks like Kennedy-Reagan could see past that...

Its folks that think your way that are going to assure the White House and both Houses of Congress will be controlled by the Dems in 09!!!
 Who cares. It's people like you that don't have nerve enough to stand up to terrorism and more specifically islamic terrorism and call it what it it.

Let's hear about your military record, red. When do you ship out? You sure talk big but I doubt you have been anywhere fighting for anything.

Well, Oldwhiner, you have just proven that you suffer from Bush Derangement Syndrome. You can't answer a simple question with a simple yes or no answer, especially when you have posted yourself into a corner with claims that are polar opposites. Now somebody finally called you on it, and you've wet your pants.

With your whining attitude, no LOOMIX dealer would want YOUR business. No business is better than your business would be.

My brother is the County Attorney here. My attitude towards law enforcement came from him. All any local, state or federal agents do is lie to him, or, talk out of both sides of their mouths, just like you've done this entire thread. It's pretty easy for cops and libs to lie when they believe they are untouchable.

This will be my last response to you on this matter, Oldwhiner. Feel free to melt down and besmirch me all you want, as I don't care anymore. You've proven beyond a doubt that you are a miserable, senile old coot, and, judging from the volume of PM's I've received telling me to keep hammering at you, you've not made all that many friends here. In my book, and, I'm sure, plenty of others here, you have ZERO credibility. I feel sorry for you. It's a wonder you lived this long being as demented as you are.

YOU....YOU....dare speak of credible!!!

You are the one who has reincarnated yourself here I know of at least once...maybe even more.

I should not have even wasted my time with you....but I had to point out, haven't you noticed that 99% of the people here don't even bother to respond to you, be it positive or negative.

That measures "credible "for sure when people don't even take enough time to even make a nasty comment.

That's a thought you keep bring up schnubart. Do you have to be in the military to be supportive of the troops or the mission? You know I've never played baseball but I have a favorite team. I've never raised tarentaise but I know a good one when I see one. What's your point? Does someone not have the right to post whether they are for continuing the mission in Iraq unless they've been in the military? If it's strictly a question of military experience then we need to narrow it down some, you've never been to Iraq so what right do you have to talk? I say just let the troops on the ground say when we stay or leave if we do it your way. The deal is though we live in a democracy and don't do it your way. The decision is made by our government and the proper chain of command is followed. We stay till the president or congress says to get out.

You know what I think undermines troop morale? Middle Easterners who are resistant to democracy and will never change.

It was said that the Japanese couldn't understand Democracy of the people either.....

In July 1945, shortly after Germany had surrendered, the Allied leaders met at Potsdam near Berlin to discuss postwar policies. Among these was the decision to occupy the Japanese homeland once victory had been achieved in the Pacific. The Allies also agreed that the occupation should bring about the complete disarmament of Japanese forces and the trial of Japanese war criminals. The Potsdam Agreement further called for democratic reforms in Japan's government. Finally, the Allies declared that the occupation would end only when all these conditions had been achieved and "a peacefully inclined and responsible government" had been established in Japan.

MacArthur realized that imposing a new order on the island nation would be a difficult task even with Japanese cooperation. It would be impossible, MacArthur believed, for foreigners to dictate radical changes to 80 million resentful people.

MacArthur advised Washington against needlessly angering the Japanese by destroying the sacred symbol of their emperor. MacArthur later wrote in his autobiography: "...I would need at least one million reinforcements should such an action be taken ... Military government would have to be instituted throughout all Japan, and guerrilla warfare would probably break out."

Certain aspects of the U.S. occupation policy carried out by MacArthur were very harsh.,... At the same time, MacArthur promoted the development of democracy in Japan. He suspended Japanese laws restricting political, civil and religious liberties. He ordered the release' of political prisoners and abolished the secret police. He announced a general election to be held in April 1946, only seven months following the surrender.

Before 1945, democracy as we know it had little chance to develop in Japan.

The Japanese government leaders were shocked by the radical changes proposed in the "model constitution." In particular, they found it hard to accept the idea of "rule by the people" which conflicted with the Japanese tradition of absolute obedience to the emperor.

What is most striking about the occupation legacy, however, is how much of the democratization agenda has survived, more or less intact, to the present day
