I’m at a loss. I know they have to pander to Latinos ahead of the midterms, especially with amnesty D.O.A. in the Senate. But I don’t see how applauding a foreign leader — whose country is almost singlehandedly responsible for America’s endless immigration battles — for slamming a fantastically popular state law is a net gain in votes. They’ve already been saddled with the narrative that they can’t stop apologizing for America; you’d think they’d try extra hard here to simply sit in respectful silence while he does his shpiel rather than leaping out of their seats to grandstand. As it is, I guess they … really can’t stop apologizing for America, even when the optics involved are poisonous to their own electoral interests.

Look carefully in the vid and you’ll see Janet Napolitano (in the blue jacket) and Eric Holder (to her right) springing to their feet to pile on. While that was happening, Rasmussen was pushing out its new poll showing 71 percent support among Arizona voters for the law, which is seven points higher than it was in April. And here are new national numbers from Fox News:

Rasmussen was pushing out its new poll showing 71 percent support among Arizona voters for the law,

that was from a FOX news source..

check out the result of the other mainstream media polls
MSNBC is asking the nation if Arizona should "have the right to pull the plug on L.A.

The overwhelming response has been hell yes: 86 percent of respondents so far agree that Arizona should be able to cut off its supply of electrons to the city,

now how is that for a liberal source..

here is another poll they did..

By a fairly wide margin, most Americans support the key provisions of Arizona's new law which targets illegal immigrants.

A new poll released Wednesday by the Pew Research Center found that 62 percent of those questioned think police should be able to question those they believe are in this country illegally. And 67 percent say police should be able to detain anyone unable to verify their legal status.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/37120728/ns/local_news-phoenix_az/

so if the poll taker didn't ask to see the persons papers.. the result is startling..

Census figures show that 90 percent of illegal immigration comes from Latin America, with 70 percent of the total from Mexico.

Based upon the analysis presented here, it is likely that in mid-2005 more than 20 million illegal aliens presently resided in the United States, with roughly 12,000 additional illegal aliens entering every day.

at that point in 2005 illegals made up 7% of our populations.. so with 21,900.000 or 22 million more... they make up roughly 14% of our population..

poll one.. 86% support AZ the other 14% doesn't... maybe cause they are illegals?

poll two. 67% supports deportation. 14% ( illegals) probably doesn't
leaving 19% of the legal us population against it..

of that... "legal population" 19%
The nation’s immigrant population (legal) reached a record of 37.9 million in 2007.

or about 13% ... so 7% of US voting citizens.. are against deportation of Illegals..

Interesting, with respect to immigration and perhaps states' rights the country is almost united. Thank goodness for something most agree on. Politicians of both parties better take note.
Don't you just know the pro illegal group is racking their brains, trying to come up with some kind of a "crooked" plan to slip amnesty on through. But I don't think they can, too many watching them too closely. What a predicament. :D

As Hannity says, what we have is government of Obama, for Obama, and by Obama. People want the border enforced, he won't do it. People didn't want Obamacare, we got it rammed down our throats. People didn't want the porkulus, we got the porkulus.
