From what he said the final blows were the seven Republicans pulling their support for the fisal commission bill that they sponsered and then when Reid rewrote the Bipartisan jobs bill and never consulted the GOP before he did it, making it just another partisan bill.

It really threw the Dems into a tissy as he was 20 points ahead in the polls and they figured it was a safe seat. Now they have to find somebody to replace him and the nominations close by the weekend I think they said.

From what Olympia Snow told Greta on Fox this isn't the first time a bill has come out of committee and by the time it gets to the Senate floor for a vote Reid has pulled Republican parts from the bill. Reid meant "We Won We Write The Bills" and he is proving it by re-writing committee bills before they are voted on in the Senate. :x

He is a democrat, so the first 2 ain't a reason to quit... but number three would indicate he thinks Obama is not the "great Leader" ..and he needs to step down...

Ouch Evan Bayh was just on TV saying that if he creates one job as a private business owner it would be more than the Congress has created in the last 6 months. So I ask the Dem supporters what is with Obama and Biden's claims to have created a million plus jobs with the Stimulus Bill? :?

He's just another quitter...a panty waste not worth the time of anyone.

If he's so concnerned about the ability of Congress...instead of crying and running.....man up and stay there and try to create a 'fix'.

What is it, " Quitters never win and winners never quit".....

This is being proven a lot lately

You must be talking about Rahm and Maobama - both quit their last jobs.
