West desert of Utah about 15 miles east of Nevada line. Pretty plants. Buck brush in bloom. Smelled like heaven

Looking at the Deep Creek mnts. They straddle the state line.

Not sure what this delicate little one was, but it was sure beautiful.

Prickly Pear are just starting to bloom.

Spines on the exterior but still mighty pretty.

4 wing salt brush. Surprisingly high in protein and a favorite winter feed of ungulates all over the desert. Pretty when it blooms too.

Sue and I moved some cows to the Erland pasture, went back with mineral and mineral feeders and some Breed Up tubs.

Spilt estate on the pasture with the oil wells, so no royalties on those big grasshopper pump jacks.

You misspelled fauna. The correct spelling is "a fawn". They have white spots this time of the year.
