This is my hired man, who figures that if there are no cattle to move, then he should ride the quad too. I didn't think there was room with the tub and salt and mineral on the back, but he proved me wrong!

He is a good dog, although some wouldn't like him as he isn't a speed dog. We are working with yearlings all the time, so that suits me fine, as they aren't there on a spa plan. Slow and steady works fine for me. He never goes fast enough to get in trouble, which I like, and he heels if I want him to or if he needs to, rather than causing a wreck just so he can fix it like some dogs do. He has a huge outrun, which my female figures she can cut down considerably so she can get there first, and does, but between the two of them they cover the area and don't miss anything. I couldn't do my job without them.

Sounds like our kind of dog.

There just any price you can put on a real good dog.
Glad you have some and that you appreciate them.
That's a good partnership.

That is the best picture I have seen in a LONG time. I just love border collies and I know how loyal they are. Mine would literally crawl across hot coals on its back to get to me if I called her. Good Dog....go give it a treat!

I have an aussie that looks just like him. And he is the same way as Tibbs' dog. Loyal and loving to the end. Better than some spouses.
