Did you get an invite?

As the White House has previously announced, Justin Timberlake (who will be making his White House debut), Al Green, Ben Harper, Queen Latifah, Cyndi Lauper, Joshua Ledet, Sam Moore, Charlie Musselwhite, Mavis Staples, and others will be performing at the exclusive event.

But while the performers are known, the guest list for the private event has not yet been released.

One imagines it’s a tough ticket to come by. To attend any event at the White House, one must be invited. (The White House is now closed for public access by members of the general public.) And especially this one, with Hollywood and musical stars–and with remarks by the president of the United States.

bet that cost a fortune..

I wonder how ol George feels knowing he cancelled golf cause it looked bad.. ?

yet this schmuck can close the White house to kids.. and still live it up like a 1%er...

and not one liberal cares..

Don't say anything bad about Obama. You might hurt Oldtimer's feelings.

the rational for cancelling the volunteer staffed tours was the need for SS guards..

how many secret service "guards" are required for a huge party with celebrities compared to a group of eight year olds on a field trip?

You're trying to figure out the reasoning/thought process, behind a progressive's decision making?

Navy cancels Blue Angels shows for 2013 due to sequester

By Perry Chiaramonte

Published April 09, 2013

The Blue Angels, the Navy's revered aerial acrobats, have been grounded for the rest of the year due to sequestration cuts.

The Navy announced the cancellation Tuesday of over 30 shows for the stunt-flying team that were planned through November, citing budget cuts imposed by the Department of Defense.

Funny how the Golf trips, Ski trips, million dollar vacation resorts, Spring break trips for the girls and White House Celebrity filled parties for the Obama's are still on but anything those paying for their first class entertainment might enjoy is being canceled. :x
