DID YOU KNOW.........

Did you know that 47 countries have re-established their embassies in
Iraq?

Did you know that the Iraqi government employs 1.2 million Iraqi people?

Did you know that 3100 schools have been renovated,

Universities, 46 institutes or colleges and 4 research centers

OF COURSE WE DIDN'T KNOW!
WHY DIDN'T WE KNOW?

OUR MEDIA WOULDN'T TELL US!

The lack of accentuating the positive in Iraq serves only one purpose.
It undermines the world's perception of the United States and our
soldiers.

All of these facts are verifiable on the Department of Defense website
and many other independent sources.

Did you know that the international agency for rebuilding Iraq will take your donation for that work, but they won't tell you where the work is being done. Why? They don't want the terrorist to know because they can't defend the worksite.

Cell phone usage is up because terrorists have a harder time knocking out cell phone towers.

How many of those embassies have an Ambassador in residence?

That 1.2 million Iraqi government employees are being paid with US taxpayer $$$.

Yes, I knew about the Iraqi Commandos. Some of them are snatching citizens off the street and torturing and murdering them.

How many of those 3500 police officers actually go to work as police officers. They're nortorious for taking the paychecks and never showing up again. Or going to another region and entering police school for a check in that area.

Did you know that Iraqi oil production is actually down from before the US invaded the country?

Did you know that Iraqis pay 5 cents for a gallon of gas? The US taxpayer pays the other $2.55 to the oil companies.

Did you know that Iraqi residents spend half their day without electricity? Electrical production is less than before the US invaded Iraq. That will vary from month to month as the US pays to rebuild the electrical infastructure and the insurgents tear it down.

Did you know that recently a Shiite milita group, operating under the protection of the current government, imprisioned over 100 Iraqi civilians (Sunnis), tortured, starved, and abused them?

Did you know that the Republican Congress just voted to cut the foodstamp program in order to help pay for this war?

Did you know that thousands of hurricane victaims are being turned out of shelters and hotels? That hundreds of small business on the Gulf Coast can't get loans from the government? That the Republican lead government has offered to loan Louisiana money to rebuild, but has given billions of dollars to Iraq?

Did you know that coward Gen Casey has a plan for withdrawing several thousand troops from Iraq next year?

 I did not know that! Great news! Cut all of it, I hope?

 No! Say it isn't so! It's only been two and a half months! That can't be right, can it? You mean we aren't going to keep on paying for Laderrick and Tamika to keep their crib at the Holiday Inn Express? Well, color me  May I be excused long enough to email my Senators?

No, I only chose to respond to two. There's a difference. I don't feel personally challenged to respond to you. Nor do I read all of your posts. All of that drivel. Just every once in a while when I'm bored. I'm just goofin' off, Dis. Using about 5% of my mind to pick on you, while the rest of it idles along doing something more important. You need to stop taking this stuff so seriously. Maybe try to get some work done, or something. Contribute to the GDP every once in a while.

Disappointing you? That sounds like an emotion. Is that what that is? Touchy-feely liberal stuff, for sure. I hope you're okay. Maybe you'll get over it? I'm really at a loss. Not sure exactly how to handle this. Is an apology in order? Just hold your breath.
