If you get it up and going I'd like to come watch with you. We don't have ESPN of any kind.

Guess it would probably be more of a drive than it's worth for 10 days straight.

There was a battle between ESPN and Dish over fees- and it ended up with ESPN Classic being moved to the Multi-Sports Package-- so you would have to pay more and ESPN gets more..

DISH Network moved ESPN Classic from the America's Top 200 to the Multi-Sports Pack

On March 20, 2010, in the early morning, DISH Network moved a popular cult classic TV channel, ESPN Classic, to their Multi-Sports Pack. ESPN Classic used to be in the America's Top 200 channel package (formerly known as the Classic Silver 200). The road is split right down the middle; some are upset by this unannounced change to their channel line-up, others don't really care. The untold story is; Where DISH stands in all of this?

Quite frankly, the decision was not really DISH's to make, but a carefully planned move by ESPN themselves!

i bit the bullet and bought the multi-sports package for an extra $7/mo. no big deal i guess, but i never watched those channels before and probably won't once the finals are over. but we can't be missin' the NFR...... :D

Just checked the schedule, all the go-rounds can be seen on ESPN2. Those that will be live on ESPN Classic will be re-airs and some will be live on ESPN2.

Don't have to buy the Sports package to watch it only 10 days out of the year.

I found it strange that there was no mention of the barrel racers on that site.

They maybe have their own organization but they are on the same telecast in the same rodeo. :?

Just imagine a yard full of banty chickens. The hens are the barrel racers and the roosters represent the rough stock riders.

4 roosters for every hen makes it even more interesting.

That way I can fast forward thru parts I don't wanna watch. I don't know why...but I don't care to watch the saddle bronc and bare back.....like steer wrestlin...team ropin, calf ropin. and barrels. Usually don't watch the bulls either. But....I probably would watch more of it if I wasn't tryin to watch at 1 am in the mornin when it's first aired.

They just voted barrel racing the most dangerous sport-1500 people were trampled to death heading to the beer stand in rodeos across north america when it started  I like to watch any event if competitors are trying to win-windmilling team ropers, drive by doggers and d'ed up bronc riders aren't much watching.

Runaway barrel horses have crippled more bronc riders than broncs have- and barrel chasers have ended the careers of many a good bronc rider...
As one of my barrel racer friends posted on Facebook the other day:

"A barrel racer needs only 4 animals in her life...1. a 100x Beaver hat, 2. A Ram in the garage, 3. A good barrel horse, 4. A jackass to pay for it all"
