Just happens sometimes. I have been very busy with our new feeding venture and work...I actually earned a trip on a Cruise with sales we had....Looks like Toronto where FH disappeared to was not near as nice, LOL....

This board does take some time and effort. Occcasionally Lifes needs take front seat, but I did miss it here,

glad to know that you are not room temperature Pat, your ears should have been burning two weeks ago as your name came up when we were bidding on some short term bred cows at the sale ring. Bought them for $600 a head, already calving, not the prettiest on this earth but how can you go wrong when you end up with a $500 calf, a cow to cull and no hay into them?

sw,

I have done this many times before.....Big thing is getting thier mineral lvels up and fed up....

I take it ou aren't breeding them later....I bought a cow last fall that lost her Calf...bad Udder is my guess and we can't babysit....But hre's the deal...Let th bag dry up, put some finish on her (Easy on barren cow) and this one will be 1500-1600 pounds...Those kind are hotting $48-50/ct right now and should do the same.....

So, losing a calf, I turned a $650 cow into a $750 cow....If the calf was to have ade it, it woulda been good,

Good luck!
