Our local auction sold a cull Blonde bull for 75c/lb yesterday - they said it was the dearest cull bull they have sold in ten years. Now if only the other cattle prices would rise to the same extent.

In1968 we sold the first Charolais bull ever through the local yards-I think he brought 231/2/lb which supposedly was the most ever back then-they ground him up and fed him at the rodeo lol.

I thought you'd enjoy that Silver :D The bull did go to a packer, the top end bulls seem to be getting up there in price - another made over 70 cents in Ponoka yesterday.

I've got one big ole bull I should take to auction, I'd guess he weighs about 2200 lbs. I've used this one for too long now, and if I got 70 cents for him it would go a long way towards his replacement.
